300 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the plans, if any, he has to revise the regulations in relation to the winter dip of sheep for the treatment of sheep scab to allow injection products as well as conventional dip tub methods to be used; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Sheep Scab (Ireland) Order of 1905 (Amendment) Order, 1994 (S.I. No. 290 of 1994) was made on 23 September. The effect of this Order is to update the provisions of the Sheep Scab (Ireland) Order of 1905, and particularly to enable the use of both dip and non-dip sheep scab treatments.
