The person named applied for slaughter premium on two application forms in respect of 44 animals under the 1994 EU deseasonalisation slaughter premium scheme. He was paid slaughter premium on 2 September 1994 on 12 of these animals included on an application form that he had completed correctly. The application form covering the remaining 32 animals had not, however, been completed correctly by the applicant, and as a result, payment on these 32 animals could not be made. The application has now been corrected and payment will issue shortly.

Arrangements have been made to pay the advance of the 1994 ewe premium to the person named shortly.

Ceist:314 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when ten month and twenty-two month special beef premia, due since November 1993, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry. [482/94]
The mother of the person named originally applied for payment of these premia. Because her herd number had to be cancelled and a new herd number allocated to the person named consequent on her transferring her stock and her lands to him, payment of premia has been delayed.
Out of the 15 animals submitted under the ten month November 1993 special beef premium scheme one was found to be over age. Payments in respect of the remaining 14 animals and in respect of the six animals applied on under the 22 months scheme are being processed at present and will issue shortly.
