Written Answers. - Directional Signposting Funding.
Signposting may be EU co-financed where it is undertaken as part of a road improvement project assisted under the Operational Programme for Transport. The programme is also providing assistance to implement traffic management measures recommended by the final report of the Dublin Transportation Initiative and this may include improved signposting. The programme allocates funding at a global level only — national primary roads, non-national roads etc. — and not for individual activities such as signposting.
