Ceist:

192 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment when he received draft by-laws from Dublin Corporation for the banning of soiling by dogs in public places; and whether he has given the required approval for their implementation. [1157/94]

Dublin Corporation submitted dog control by-laws for confirmation on 29 April 1994. The by-laws were confirmed by me on 21 September 1994. The implementation of the by-laws is a matter for the local authority.
