Liz O'Donnell

Ceist:

I have three civil servants assigned to me for the purpose of dealing with constituency queries, representations and replies. In addition, there is a fourth so assigned, but she is on leave without pay at present.

Ceist:

205 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the number of civil servants allocated to him and to the Minister of State at his Department for the purposes of dealing with constituency queries, representations and replies. [1109/94]

There are currently five civil servants allocated on a full-time basis to both myself and the Minister for State for the purposes of dealing with constituency queries, representations and replies. The breakdown is as follows, Minister's Office: executive officer, one; clerical officer, one; clerical assistant, one. Minister of State's Office: clerical officer, two.

In addition, there are three clerical assistant typists assigned to each office. They would spend a proportion of their time dealing with constituency matters.
