Vol. 445 No. 7

Written Answers. - Domiciliary Care Allowance.

Bernard J. Durkan

Ceist:

245 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health when domiciliary care allowance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15 in respect of her daughter who was born in 1992 and who suffers from Downs Syndrome; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1139/94]

Payment of domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
