76 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice the proposals, if any, she has to consult with the British Government in relation to aligning Irish and English time with continental time; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [564/94]
The arguments for and against the alignment of standard time in Ireland with the time that applies in most of the continental member states of the European Union are at present being examined in my Department. Pending completion of this examination, contact with the British Government on the matter would be premature.
