Written Answers. - Representation on An Bord Bia.
I presume the question relates to the subsidiary board for meat and livestock which is to be established under section 13 of An Bord Bia Act, 1994. The position is that under section 15 of the Act the ordinary members of that subsidiary board are to be appointed by the main board, with my consent, on the nomination of organisations which I consider to be representative of the various sectors of the meat and livestock industry. That process has not yet commenced but consideration will be given to all of the various interested organisations at the appropriate time.
