122 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment if he has satisfied himself with the current legislation relation to protection against pollution from smells; and if he intends to introduce legislation to protect people from contamination of this type. [2509/94]

I am satisfied that the Air Pollution Act. 1987, the Environmental Protection Act, 1992 and associated regulations. constitute an adequate statutory basis for action in relation to pollution caused by smells.
