Ceist:164 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if she will approve the recommendation of the NCEA in relation to the provision of a bachelor of social care degree course at the Regional Technical College, Cork. [2780/95]

New course proposals from the Regional Technical College, Cork will be considered in the context of the programmes and budget which, under the terms of the Regional Technical Colleges Act, 1992, are to be submitted on or before 1 May.
These proposals and those from other regional technical colleges and the Dublin Institute of Technology will be considered having regard to policy and available resources.
