Ceist:72 Mr. Bree asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht when a decision will be taken in relation to the provision of a theatre in Letterkenny, County Donegal. [4049/95]
Written Answers. - Provision of Theatre.
An application for financial assistance under the Cultural Development Incentives Scheme, to be administered by my Department under the Operational Programme for Tourism 1994-1999, has been received in respect of the provision of a theatre in Letterkenny. I will soon be finalising arrangements for the processing of applications under this scheme.
Due to the large number of applications received and the detailed nature of the evaluation process, it is expected that it will be some time before decisions are made on the projects to be funded for 1995.
