As the ESB 1994 annual report and accounts have not yet been finalised, I am not in a position to provide the information required by the Deputies in regard to 1994.
ESB's total investment by way of equity and loans in subsidiaries and associated companies in respect of 1993 was £43.2 million. The remaining information in respect of 1993 is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report. Certain information of a commercially sensitive nature is not included as it may give an advantage to competitors.
