Written Answers. - Waste Management Plans.
I refer to the reply to Question No. 52 of 27 April 1995 in relation to the making of general and special waste plans. Local authorities generally facilitate public access to all such plans. Rights of access would be available under the European Communities (Toxic and Dangerous Waste) Regulations, 1982, which provide for public inspection of special waste plans and also under the Access to Information on the Environment Regulations, 1993.
Information is not available in my Department as to the detailed arrangements made by individual authorities for the publication of waste plans.
