Ceist:

122 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Social Welfare the Exchequer expenditure on social welfare as a percentage of GNP for each of the past five years; and the estimate for 1995 as a percentage of GNP. [11630/95]

The information requested is as set out in the following table. Exchequer expenditure is defined as total social welfare expenditure, including certain administration costs borne on Votes of other Government Departments, less non-Exchequer contributions to the social insurance fund.
