There are no plans for the introduction of impositions of the type referred to by the Deputy. I am satisfied that, taking account of our economic, social and budgetary requirements as well as our obligations under EU law, the current indirect tax arrangements are appropriate. In the normal course of events, these arrangements will fall to be reviewed in the run-up to the 1996 budget.
