117 Mr. M. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment if he will provide funding for the construction of a new water tower in Cobh, County Cork, to provide for the greatly increased demand for water in the area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15060/95]

Contract documents for this scheme have been submitted to my Department. Given the high level of demands under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve them.
