Ceist:

34 Mr. Dempsey asked the Taoiseach the consultants who were appointed by his Department since 16 December 1994; if they were appointed following a tendering procedure; if the consultant appointed in each case was the lowest tenderer; and if not, who the lowest tenderer was. [15703/95]

Consultants were appointed by my Department, the NESC, the Forum for Peace and Reconciliation, the Constitution Review Group, the Western Development Partnership Board and the Strategic Management Initiative (SMI). On the basis of direct tender or a tendering procedure which led to a list for selection. the following were appointed:
