Written Answers. - Music Industry Employment.
The Deputy is aware that in May of this year I established a special task group, FORTE, to examine the scale and structures of the music industry in Ireland so as to identify any factors that may be inhibiting the industry's further development and identify measures that could inter alia accelerate the industry's expansion with a view to recommending specific proposals that could be implemented by Government and the private sector to significantly increase the number of sustainable jobs in the industry.
I understand that FORTE will be in a position to submit its report to me shortly.
