I understand that there is one member of the Garda Síochána attached to the National Bureau of Fraud Investigation who is a qualified accountant.
The Government has accepted the report's recommendations of the appointment of accountants to the National Bureau of Fraud Investigation and arrangements are in train for the recruitment of two accountants. It is expected that the posts will be advertised next month by the Civil Service Commission.
