Vol. 457 No. 8

Written Answers. - Principalship Appointments.

Síle de Valera

Ceist:

71 Miss de Valera asked the Minister for Education if she will give a breakdown by diocese of the numbers of male and female primary teachers who were ratified by her Department as being qualified as eligible candidates for appointment to vacant principalships in 1994 and to date in 1995. [16092/95]

Details of the number of male and female primary teachers who were ratified by my Department as being eligible to compete for vacant principalships are not available on a diocesan basis. The information is, however, available on a county basis, and will be circulated in the Official Report in the form of a tabular statement.
