77 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Education the steps, if any, she has taken to examine the use of educational buildings, with particular reference to their retention in educational use as promised in the programme for Government. [16286/95]
It is the practice for my Department to take account of the availability and suitability of existing educational buildings in planning for the provision of school accommodation. The practice will be reviewed as part of the remit of the commission on school accommodation proposed in the White Paper on Education.
