81 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for financial assistance under the recreational facilities scheme from Oughterard Community Centre, County Galway; if so, if she will approve grant assistance in this case; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application has been received in my Department from Oughterard Community Centre seeking assistance under the recreational facilities scheme.

The question of a grant for this project is being considered at present in the context of funds available and a decision in the matter will be made as soon as possible.
