Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Seán Ryan — the proposals, if any, currently under examination for a second commercial airport at Baldonnel, County Dublin; (2) Deputy Killeen — the need to update the sewage treatment facilities at Lahinch, County Clare to enable the town to benefit from the 1995 pilot resorts scheme; (3) Deputy Finucane — the initiatives being taken in view of the closures of the Neodata Offices in Kilmallock and Newcastle West, County Limerick; (4) Deputy Leonard — EU funding for Border counties; (5) Deputy O'Rourke — the action being taken to avert the closure of the Neodata plants in County Limerick; the steps, if any, taken by the Industry Task Force; and the need to establish a dedicated jobs task force for the Newcastle West and Kilmallock areas; (6) Deputy O'Malley — the crisis in Irish horse racing; (7) Deputy Tom Kitt — the need for the Minister for Enterprise and Employment to intervene in the Dunnes Store dispute; (8) Deputy Eric Byrne — the need to abolish ground rents as a lien on residential property; (9) Deputy Broughan — the need to review the funding allocation to the Northside Partnership in Dublin.

The matters raised by Deputies Finucane, O'Rourke, Tom Kitt and O'Malley have been selected for discussion.
