Vol. 459 No. 1

Written Answers. - Knocklyon (Dublin) School.

Liz O'Donnell

Ceist:

89 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Education her response to hundreds of letters sent to her from constituents in Knocklyon, Dublin 14, on 21 June 1995, by registered post and which have not been replied to by her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17955/95]

A large number of campaign type letters were received from parents and students regarding the provision of a post-primary school in Knocklyon, Dublin 14, last June.

I have asked that the position regarding the need for a school be re-examined, at an early date, in the light of the Knocklyon post primary committee's response to the Bannon report and other documentation received in the matter.

The outcome of this examination will provide the necessary response to the standard letter in question.
