95 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of farmers who are currently awaiting payment under the REPS scheme in County Waterford; the number of farmers who have been paid to date; when the outstanding payments under this scheme will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To date some 244 payments have been made to first year participants in County Waterford under the REPS scheme. A further 28 applications are being processed and payment will be made as soon as processing is complete. A total of 39 participants are due second year payments which will be made in the next few weeks.
