147 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for the Environment the total allocation to Limerick corporation towards the cost of construction of 11 housing units at Kilmurray Road, Garryane, County Limerick; and the individual costs in respect of construction, site elevation, drainage and any other matters. [1750/96]
The annual financial allocations to local authorities for their housing programme do not relate to individual schemes but are designed to cover the costs arising during the year on their overall programme. The allocations for 1996 will be made as soon as possible. I understand Limerick Corporation is currently considering tenders for the construction of 11 houses at Kilmurray Road and will, in due course, be submitting to my Department details of the all-in cost of the scheme, including the tender price, site acquisition and development costs, fees, etc.
