Smith asked the Minister for the Environment the funding, if any, that has been obtained in respect of Virginia sewerage scheme, County Cavan; if he will ensure that this project is advanced as quickly as possible in view of the urgent need to provide this scheme; when tenders will be sought in respect of the project; when construction is likely to commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This scheme is included in the water and sewerage programme 1996, which I recently announced, and is expected to proceed to construction in 1996.
