232 Kathleen Lynch asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to introduce school based assessment in the wake of the disappearance of the leaving certificate craftwork of 49 leaving certificate students. [3880/96]
I assume that the Deputy is referring to the possibility of assessing the craftwork component of the leaving certificate art examination in the schools rather than centrally in Athlone at present.
The Deputy will be aware that Price Waterhouse are conducting an external inquiry into the leaving certificate art examination in 1995 and I await their report.
