250 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice if she will expedite registration of lands (details supplied) in the Land Registry in view of the fact that the delay in registration is causing problems with the sale of the property. [3802/96]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the dealings referred to are an application for first registration based on possession and a transfer of part. I understand that, due to their complicated nature, applications for first registration must be thoroughly investigated and take some time to process.
I also understand that a mapping query issued to the applicants' solicitors on 22 November 1995 and a reply to this query is awaited. In view of the circumstances outlined by the Deputy, I have arranged to have the dealing expedited on receipt of a reply to the query.
