Vol. 462 No. 2

Written Answers. - Foreign Travel.

Dermot Ahern

Ceist:

62 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Taoiseach the foreign trips undertaken by him during 1995, including the time and date of exit from and return to this country; the mode of transport; the purpose of each trip; the persons who travelled with him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4373/96]

I refer the Deputy to the Official Report of 18 October 1995 and my reply to Question No. 61, in which details of foreign travel to that date are set out.

It is not considered appropriate to give the exact times of departure and arrival. The information in respect of travel between 18 October and the end of 1995 is set out in the attached schedule. The Government jet was used in all instances and the Taoiseach was accompanied also by a security officer.
