192 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education if the local contribution required in respect of an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Cork can be reduced in view of the extra costs which were incurred and have been paid for by the board of management. [5744/96]
A supplementary local contribution has been requested in respect of an extension at the school to which the Deputy refers. This is because the final cost of the capital works exceeded the estimated cost. It is standard practice to request the additional contribution due. I regret that it is not possible to waive the request.
