Limerick East): The following is the information requested by the Deputy.

Invitations of the type referred to by the Deputy were issued from my office prior to a dinner and dance held on 31 March 1995. Similar invitations have also recently issued from my office for a dinner which is due to take place on 22 March 1996.

In May 1995, the Minister of State at my Department, Deputy Currie, issued invitations through his office seeking support for a fundraising luncheon in aid of his constituency organisation.

No invitations of this type have issued from the office of Minister of State at my Department, Deputy O'Shea.
