95 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if he will give a breakdown, county by county, of the post-primary school projects approved for funding under the post-primary school capital programme for 1996; the amount of money allocated to each project; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5873/96]
I propose to circulate in the Official Report a list of projects on the 1996 capital programme.
Contracts have not yet been placed for the majority of projects on this list. It is not the practice of my Department to release details of the costings for individual projects in advance of obtaining tenders and placing the contracts.
The release of such information at this stage could compromise the tendering process and give rise to substantially increased costs.
