123 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the purchase by her Department of a building (details supplied) in County Cork for use by a Gaelscoil; and if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the matter has been ongoing for sometime. [6752/96]
The Chief State Solicitor's office has recently been in touch with the vendor's solicitors requesting them to forward the contract for sale of this building. Upon receipt of this contract my Department will arrange for it to be executed.
I am aware that this matter has been ongoing for some time. My Department is anxious to finalise the purchase as soon as possible.
