155 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Environment if he will consider making a free phone service available to the general public who require to make contact with his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6960/96]
While I have no plans at present to make such a service available, the provision of local call access on a country-wide basis is currently being studied by an interdepartmental steering committee, chaired by the Department of Finance and on which my Department is represented.
