275 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he will nominate a representative of Shannon and District Chamber of Commerce, County Clare, to the Shannon Airport Marketing Consultative Committee. [7147/96]
There are currently nine members of the Shannon Airport Marketing Consultative Committee representing a broad spectrum of interests and opinions. I am satisfied that the committee is already sufficiently representative of interests in the mid-west and I am anxious to avoid a body which could be unwieldy and have difficulty reaching consensus. In the circumstances I do not intend to make any further nominations to it.
