Written Answers. - Doonbeg (Clare) Pier Funding.
I understand that a proposal by Doonbeg Community Development Co. Ltd. to develop the pier is among the applications submitted to Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) for EU aid under the PESCA community initiative. BIM has now completed its evaluation of projects for funding under the next round of PESCA. While I expect to be in a position to announce details of approved projects shortly I am not in a position to confirm whether the Doonbeg project is included in this round.
