Area Development Management (ADM) Ltd. is the independent intermediary responsible for implementation of Sub-programme 2 of the Operational Programme for Local Urban and Rural Development, 1994-1999 — i.e. Integrated Development of Designated Disadvantaged and Other Areas:
Area Development Management (ADM) Ltd., is located at Holbrook House, Holles Street, Dublin 2.
The Chief Executive is Dr. Tony Crooks and the number of employees is 22, of whom 14 are on secondment from Government Departments/State agencies.
There are 35 established partnerships which operate under the aegis of ADM. Their managers and location are listed below for the Deputy's information. Each partnership has a core administrative staff of three people and most have between three and eight development staff working on a contract basis from six months to three years duration. A number of partnership staff are also on secondment from State bodies.

In addition there are three Partnerships — Cavan, Monaghan and Galway County whose inaugural board meetings are expected to be held in April 1996.
The Western Development Partnership Board is an independent company limited by guarantee. It is based at the Sligo Business Centre, The Market Yard, Sligo. The board has three staff: a chief executive, a personal/research assistant and a clerical assistant.
The board's general function is to promote the economic development of the Western Region with the objective of achieving population stability by the end of the decade at 1991 Census levels on a county basis.
