70 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for the Environment the current status of the Burren/North Clare cohesion programme applications; the difficulties, if any, that have arisen regarding any aspects of this application; and when approval will be given. [8120/96]
The application for Cohesion Fund support for the Burren and north Clare water services plan was submitted to the European Commission on 4 November 1994. No decision has been made by the Commission on the application and I cannot say when a decision will be made. I am not aware of any particular difficulties with the application.
