76 Dr. McDaid asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in purchasing land for an agreed halting site at Isle Lane, Letterkenny, County Donegal in view of the fact that the matter has been agreed by Letterkenny Urban District Council and Donegal County Council. [8443/96]
A proposal from Letterkenny Urban District Council to provide a halting site at Isle Lane, Letterkenny was approved in principle in March 1994 subject to certain conditions, including submission of details of site costs, a documented cost plan and detailed drawings and specifications for the works. No communication has since been received from the council.
