81 Miss Harney asked the Minister for the Environment the submissions, if any, he has received from South Dublin County Council in respect of a pilot scheme programme of remedial housing works at Limekiln Farm Estate, Greenhills, Dublin 12; if so, when funding will be made available for this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8893/96]
I understand that South Dublin County Council has received a report from its consultants in this matter and that revised proposals under the remedial works scheme will be sent to my Department shortly. When received, the matter will be examined as quickly as possible. Funding has already been provided by my Department to replace prefabricated chimneys in some of the houses in the estate.
