37 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3 who needs orthodontic treatment has been informed that she will not have a brace for her teeth installed until she is 16 years old; if he will have arrangements made to have this case reviewed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Limerick East): As the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in Dublin 3 is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Health Board in the first instance I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
