Ceist:

45 Mr. Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will furnish a list of the successful applicants at the recent meeting of the Cultural Relations Committee 1996; and the persons on this committee for 1996. [10545/96]

Information on funding provided in 1996 on the recommendation of the Cultural Relations Committee will be available at the end of this year, and I shall arrange for the Deputy to receive at that time a list of the organisations and individuals whose applications for funding were successful.

The members of the current Cultural Relations Committee are Brendan Kennelly (Chairman), academic and poet; John Behan, artist and member of Aosdána; Siobhan Bourke, theatre company manager; Paul Brady, musician; Cecily Brennan, artist and member of Aosdána; Terence Brown, academic and writer; Ann Deeney, teacher; T.V. Honan, theatre manager; Fionnuala Hunt, musician and artistic director of the Irish Chamber Orchestra; Alf MacLochlainn, librarian; Jackie McKenna, artist; Emer McNamara, arts officer with Macra na Feirme; Chris Meehan, musician; Adrian Munnelly, Director, Arts Council; Peter Murray, curator, Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork; Doireann Ní Bhriain, broadcaster and Irish commissioner of "L'Imaginaire Irlandais"; Michael O'Siadhail, poet and member of Aosdána; Liz Sharkey, National Youth Federation.
