The GSM licence was issued to ESAT Digifone which is owned by Telenor Invest A/S which owns 40 per cent, ESAT Telecommunications Holdings Limited which owns 40 per cent and IIU Nominees Limited which holds 20 per cent of the shares on behalf of Mr. Dermot Desmond.
