302 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine the current position in relation to an application for funding for the development of the small harbour at Bunagee Pier, Culdaff, County Donegal, to accommodate small tourist craft and to save it before the nose of the current pier becomes like that of the pier visited by him in Moville last summer. A three year fishery harbour capital development programme, 1997-99, is being prepared at present and the case for assistance for Bunagee Pier will be assessed in that context. Funding for fishery harbour development under the Fisheries Operational Programme is very limited. Only projects which demonstrate a significant potential return from the fisheries perspective are grant aided under the programme.
