Written Answers. - Beijing Platform for Action.
Work on the compilation of a report on the implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action has commenced. This involves consultation with all Government Departments and a range of other bodies.
I would like to advise the Deputy that a number of the areas of concern in the platform have already been or are in the process of being addressed as part of the ongoing monitoring of the implementation of the recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women.
