Statistics on an annual basis are contained in the Garda Annual Report on Crime, a copy of which is available in the Oireachtas Library. A monthly breakdown is not readily available. The Deputy may be interested to know that the number of blood and urine samples analysed in March 1995 and March 1996 was as set out in the tabular statement hereunder.
