Vol. 467 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Kilkenny Sewerage Schemes.

Liam Aylward

Ceist:

157 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the provision of a sewerage scheme in Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny; if he will clarify the announcement made by him publicly some time ago on a visit to Kilkenny when he indicated that he would investigate an alternative site for the treatment works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13536/96]

I have had the proposal to relocate the treatment works investigated and I am satisfied that the original site is the more suitable. The county council has been informed of this.
