Ceist:187 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the planning and refurbishment of a school (details supplied) in County Galway; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13465/96]

The current position in regard to the building project at the school to which the Deputy refers is that my Department's architectural service is completing detailed working drawings, specifications and all other documentation needed to invite tenders. When this work is completed a decision regarding the timing of the tender-contract process will be made having regard to other priority projects and available financial resources.
