115 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Health whether he will provide resources to the Western Health Board to enable it to provide a wheelchair to a person (details supplied) in County Galway in view of the fact that this chair is urgently needed and the person involved has been informed that it could be several months before such a necessary appliance can be provided. Limerick East): The provision of aids and appliances, including wheelchairs, to people with disabilities is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board for his attention requesting that he reply to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
